IDPal At Westport Credit Union
Westport Credit Union has introduced ID PAL to verify the identity of members in real-time simply, securely and conveniently. The solution can be used to onboard members online, re-activate member accounts and to verify a members ID if it is out of date at the time of applying for a loan with the Credit Union.
This App/portal uses advanced mobile technologies that allow Westport CU members to seamlessly capture and securely transmit their personal information to the Credit Union anytime, anywhere.
If you want to become a member online, re-activate your account or in some cases for when you are applying for a loan, we will send you a unique link to access ID Pal via text or email if we need to obtain documentation for your account.
If you get this email or text, please gather the below documents.
- Valid Photo ID (Valid Passport or Driving License)
- Proof of Address (Utility Bill, Bank Statement, Correspondence from Revenue) - dated within last 6 months.
We will also ask for proof of PPSN when you first open the account or when applying for a loan. We can accept Pay Slips, correspondence from Revenue, European Health Card or Medical Card but unfortunately we cannot accept a Public Service Card for any evidence.
