We have developed a detailed Privacy Notice which will provide you with all the information you require about how we use your data.
Marketing Consents
All members should ensure that their preferred marketing options are reviewed and updated and that you have the right to change them at any time. You can assist your credit union to ensure it has your correct marketing preferences by downloading, completing and returning the Marketing Consent Form:
This consent form is also available in our offices or can be requested by emailing the Data Protection Officer at dpo@westportcu.ie
For members who are already registered for WCU online banking services you will be prompted to refresh your marketing consents when you login for the first time after May 25th 2018.
By choosing electronic forms of marketing such as email and text-marketing this enables us as a Credit Union, to save money on printing & postage costs as well as helping the environment by communicating electronically with you whenever possible.
In addition to marketing, there are certain communications which we are obliged to send you. Examples of these are; your statements and AGM notices. Choosing to receive these by email on the Marketing Consent Form will help save the environment and will also represent a significant cost saving for your Credit Union.
