Members Draw Announcement

In light of various media reports that have been circulated about credit union members draws. We would like to reassure our members that:

1. All our draws are held in branch and each draw is overseen by an independent member of An Garda Siochana, management and compliance officer who are there to ensure that the selection process is fully transparent.
2. Members have to sign up for the members draw and can withdraw at any time.
3. Our recent winners are published on our website and in the local media & all our social channels.
4.The members draw is operated on a break even basis with prize funds being distributed as cash prizes with a top prize of €15,000.
5. The members draw control procedures have been reviewed by both the external auditor of the credit union and Central Bank of Ireland.
6. Staff, management, board oversight, volunteers and board of directors are included into current member draws, none of the listed have ever won any top prize.
7. The Westport Credit Union members draw prize policy is listed in the terms and conditions of members draw application form available from all branches at any time.

We hope that our members are reassured and continue to enjoy the chance to win €15,000 and various other cash prizes quarterly.
